The AF50 TPE PP Two-Color Co-Extrusion Line is specially designed for manufacturing automotive wiper strips using thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and polypropylene (PP) materials.
The production line features two independent 50mm single-screw extruders, each with an L/D ratio of 28:1. The main extruder processes PP material, while the secondary extruder processes TPE material. Through a co-extrusion die, the two materials are combined to produce two-color automotive wiper strips in a continuous extrusion process.
The complete line consists of a dual-extruder system, forming table, two-stage cooling system, and integrated haul-off and cutting machine. The cooling system helps the extruded wiper strips maintain their shape, while the servo-driven cutting unit provides controlled cutting to the required product length.
With a production speed of approximately 20–22 m/min, the AF50 line is suitable for manufacturers looking for an integrated solution for TPE and PP automotive wiper strip production.

The production line is equipped with a forming table featuring a 100L water tank and 304 stainless steel water-contact components. A 6.5-meter cooling tank provides additional cooling after the forming stage, helping maintain the shape and dimensions of the extruded wiper strips.
3. Servo-Driven Haul-Off and Cutting System
The integrated haul-off and cutting machine uses a belt-type traction system with a 50mm belt width and a 300mm traction length. The cutting unit is driven by a 2.9kW Yaskawa servo motor and supports intermittent and continuous cutting modes.
4. PLC Control System
A Siemens PLC and 7-inch touchscreen provide centralized operation and control of the production line.
