Environmental characteristics of water-soluble film:
As a new type of eco-friendly material, water-soluble film is a high-tech, high-value-added product with a wide range of applications. Throughout the stages of raw material selection, processing, and consumption, it neither contains nor releases any toxic or harmful substances; it promotes environmental protection and green consumption, and holds promising prospects for application. Water-soluble film has been included in China’s “13th Five-Year Plan” for the development of plastic packaging materials.

Our eco-friendly, energy-efficient water-soluble film production equipment is the result of years of independent research and innovation, designed to manufacture biodegradable, environmentally friendly films. It overcomes the limitations of traditional steel-belt manufacturing processes—such as low output, inconsistent quality, and high energy consumption and costs. The system utilizes a configuration comprising mixing, degassing, and slow-agitation tanks, a slurry preparation unit, a film casting mechanism, a drying and forming unit, and a traction and winding mechanism. Key features include a drying and forming unit positioned adjacent to the casting mechanism—incorporating a set of closely spaced support rollers (rotating forward in the direction of slurry flow) and a specially designed mold—along with an external heating system and a precise, optimized production process managed by an automated PLC control system. The equipment is characterized by a high degree of automation, ease of operation, high line speeds, and the ability to produce films with uniform thickness, high precision, excellent transparency and gloss, and consistent quality. It has been granted an invention patent by the National Intellectual Property Administration.
