The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) thick sheet extrusion line is primarily designed for the extrusion of supercritical foam materials.
Supercritical microcellular foaming is a key physical foaming method characterized by being eco-friendly, pollution-free, and recyclable, with no generation of “three wastes” (wastewater, waste gas, and solid waste) or chemical residues.
The resulting products exhibit excellent overall performance—including superior mechanical properties, flame retardancy, and weather resistance—and are widely used in:
Sports equipment: such as running shoes, snowboards, skateboards, and bicycles.
Packaging industry: packaging materials such as trays and cushioning pads.
Footwear materials: materials for running shoe soles.

Production Line Equipment Components:
Main Extruder:
1) Features a specially designed, state-of-the-art venting screw to ensure complete material plasticization, eliminating defects such as gel particles, air bubbles, and black specks.
2) Equipped with a plate-type hydraulic screen changer for quick and convenient cleaning.
3) Utilizes an in-line venting design to extract moisture from the material, ensuring a glossy sheet surface free from bubbles or other defects.
4) Incorporates a melt pump and imported pressure sensors for closed-loop, in-line control.
5) Controlled by a Siemens PLC system; includes a recipe memory function for easy record-keeping and rapid startup.
Vertical Three-Roll Calender:
1) Features a dual-matte roll design to minimize TPU sticking.
2) Uses fully automatic servo control for roll gap adjustment, allowing for digital input, automatic setting, and real-time in-line adjustments to ensure uniform sheet thickness; works optimally when paired with an automatic die head.
Air Cooling Rack and Oven:
1) Includes a 1,500mm-long oven to heat the sheet surface for stress relief; features a zoned temperature design for convenient temperature control.
2) Uses aluminum guide rolls for sheet support and cooling.
3) Features a mechanical blade for convenient and practical in-line edge trimming. Two-Roll Haul-off Unit:
1) Real-time in-line length measurement.
2) Haul-off speed is synchronized with the three-roll unit but can also be adjusted independently. Hydraulic Cutter:
1) Uses hydraulic cutting; ensures a clean, tidy production environment free from debris. Three-Axis Servo Manipulator:
1) Uses vacuum suction cups for material pickup and discharge.
2) Servo-driven design ensures precise control, boosting production efficiency and saving labor.
